Why train to be a Practical Nurse in Las Vegas?
Practical Nurses (PNs) work directly with patients, providing hands-on care. PNs are an important part of the healthcare field, supporting physicians, Registered Nurses, and Nurse Practitioners by providing patients with critical care. Nursing is a profession that requires great heart, deep compassion, and a high level of commitment.
Practical Nurses work in many settings, including long-term care and rehabilitation facilities, assisted living centers, medical offices, clinics and home healthcare agencies. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of Practical Nurses is projected to grow 11 percent from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations. As the baby-boom population ages, the overall need for healthcare services is expected to increase, and LPNs will be critical to provide care for older patients in residential care facilities and in private homes.
